As good as you'll get in the Americana today--incredible singing, sisterly harmonies, and fantastic playing all around, all supporting top tier songwriting.
Favorite track: Mansion Of Heartbreak.
Mansion of Heartbreak, their sophomore release, presents twelve worried songs for worried times. Recorded directly to tape at Orchard Studios with production by Jay William Henderson and Ryan Tanner, Mansion of Heartbreak builds on the band’s 2012 album (Long Nights, Short Lives and Spilled Chances) by introducing a bit more grit into the grain, guiding a dark thread through a silver needle.
Mansion of Heartbreak confirms the Hollering Pines’ place as a high desert rock & roll outfit committed to tracing the outer contours of Americana. They make a fine picture in the process.

Thank you to our dear friends, Jay William Henderson and Ryan Tanner who worked hard to bring this album to life. And, of course, thank you to our families and loved ones who support and inspire us.
Special thanks to: Scott Bradshaw, Josephine Bradshaw, Emily Smith, Ben Child, Carl Carbonell, Machelle Schorer, Lauren Stern and Emily Tanner.
Kiki Jane Sieger and Marie Bradshaw build on the blood-tight harmonies of the past while M. Horton Smith's mandolin sweetens
the sound. Drummer Daniel Young sings and lays down the back beat, and Dylan Schorer’s electric and lap steel guitar embroidery rounds things out, pulling The Hollering Pines closer to the dim lights and thick smoke of a neon roadhouse....more

Whilst gently paddling along this glistening river with the sun warming my back I found contentment. At a peaceful spot I set up camp and breathed in the beauty........."I think I'll stay a while" I said to myself.
Thank you for this peaceful spot Mr Henderson :0) Martin Shields
